Honda accord Euro R cl1 JDM import. Foglight integrated into rear lights with a proper OEM switch (not a 10p rocker switch). Welcome to the the sale of my cl1 that I recently imported for the missis which she's been using up until now, but she wants another auto cl9 so the cl1 has to go unfortunately. She's literally used it as a school run car covering minimal km's.
The car still clocks in km so there's no descrepancy with the km's. Starter motor stripped & cleaned (free). The paint is pearl white which is a lovely colour when cleaned & polished up, will require a couple of areas of paint being the rear bumper & the passenger side rear door (see pics 5&6) has had a paint repair although the colour match is off so will require a body shop to make perfect. The recaro's are in good condition with just a small amount of wear to the drivers base, passenger & rear seats are mint, has the gold carbon trim round the gearknob & window switches, has the OEM momo steering wheel again in excellent condition with hardly any wear.Has fitted waterproof seat covers aswell for the front seats. Air-con works & blows nice & cold. Boot floor is mint under the space saver, there's 2 patches that look like rust but I assure you they are just dirt.
No signs of water ingress through the rear lights or boot seal. Still has the factory bondo across the rear of the boot underneath the plastic trim so shows this car has never had a rear impact.Wheels are OEM enkei 16x7 fitted with nearly new 205/55/16 falken tyres. Engine bay is clean & sanitary no nasty oil leaks from the cam cover gasket or around the VTEC solinoid, cam cover would benefit from a refurb in wrinkle red. Starts, runs & stops as it should.
VTEC kicks in at around 5100rpm and pulls nice and hard. If I had the space to store I'd happily keep it but Iam starting to loose the love for cars (34 & 2 kids) I just don't have time for cars anymore. Underside is clean with no rust etc hasn't yet been undersealed so there's nothing to hide, I was going to underseal in summer when it stops raining. Cambelt was replaced at 110km in Japan but I would advise on changing this along with having the valve clearance's checked. Only fault I can find is it has a slight hesitation on cold driving but when it's warm it drives fine, my accord type R suffered this same problem but after I had the valve clearance & cambelt done it was perfect with no hesitation.
Gearbox is nice & smooth with no crunches, as theses box's can suffer the dreaded 5th/reverse synchro but this one feels good, car is still factory restricted to 112mph or 180kmh, don't think the missis ever reached that speed on her short school commute so it's not been ragged about. All in all this is a nice example that just needs a little exterior love as I've mentioned.Car is still taxed, mot'd & insured so km's may go up a little as I'll be running it to and from work. Viewings are welcome but I work long hours (HGV driver) and cannot guarantee I will be home by a set time so if you want to view sat & sun will be fine. Can be viewed at my home in strood/Rochester. Please remember this car is 19 years old and is not in a "new" condition that some people expect from a car of this age.
Car is advertised elsewhere so I have the right to remove at anytime. Cash on collection within 7 days. No Messer's or time wasters.
