Honda Civic Type R

It is unfortuantely time to sell my Honda Civic track car. The car has seen an unbelieveable transformation, been fully stripped and rebuilt into what it is today. No expense has been spared in the build of the car and has been a great car for me. The list of mods are as follows. Genuine chain and tensioner fitted 2 years ago along along with all genuine gaskets, headstuds and seals (have reciepts).

Skimmed head at the same time the chain was done. K&N air filter sprayed black. Japspeed 2.5" B pipe to a 4.5" custom backbox.

Japspeed 2.5 exhaust manifold bought new (have receipt). Rocker cover sprayed in blue with custom design on spark plug cover.

Blue engine dress up bolts. Tegiwa torque dampener (have receipt). Polybush engine mount inserts (have receipt). Clockwise motion baffled sump (have receipt).

Mapped by tdi to 246 BHP (have print out). Wavetrac diff bought second hand but never fitted to another car. All gearbox parts fitted by grinspeed along with new diff bearings (have receipt). BC br coilovers all working (bought new).

Tegiwa rear camber arms (have receipt). Tegiwa extended ball joints (have receipt). Energy Suspension polybushed lower control arms front and rear (have receipt). Subframe locking collars (have receipts). All new droplinks changed about 300 miles ago. New rear toe bolts as the old ones had rusted (have receipt).

Extended inner control arms to allow for decent camber on front. Rota fighters in bronze with tiny stone chip (have receipt).

Budget tyres for on the road, i have a second set of alloys that can be used as race tyres. MOTUL RBF 600 racing brake fluid. Brake lights wired into a switch and can be turned off.

Hel braided brake lines front and back. PBS pads and pagid blank discs all round. Standard brake lines completely removed and replaced with copper piping that runs through cab. Hydraulic handbrake which has had a base plate fabricated and welded in.

OBP competition brake bias to correct for weight reduction. Completely resprayed in yellow (have paint code). Plastic windows all round bought from ACW plastics with sliders on the front (have receipt). Custom made front splitter which goes all the way underneath to the back of the engine and attaches to the chassis and sub frame.

Rear diffuser holes cut out with overplates so it looks tidy. Naca duct cut into bonnet. Custom made cold air feed which goes through the prefacelift light. Facelift wing mirrors (indicators not wired in). Completely stripped out and resprayed nighthawk black.

Completely rewired the whole car and removed unecessary wires. Old heaters removed and a 3kg heater installed.

Fuseboard wired in for all switches and gauges. Doors cut and all mecanisms removed. Custom made door cards with handles.

Blue monaco pro fixed back bucket seats with blue sparco harnesses. Support bar welded in for the bucket seats so they are fixed to car, can be adjusted. OMP 6 point rollcage sprayed in same blue as rockerhead cover.

Plates welded in for cage. OMP D shaped steering wheel (rep).

Volt meter, oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge fitted. Switch board and push button start up. Interior kill switch wired in. Interior blue LED light strip wired in. Custom made centre console to support switches and gauges.

Two fire extinguishers located under both seats. Battery relocated with battery box. I believe thats it and i have plenty of pictures and videos of the work being carried out. It does require a few bits, the digital water gauge needs wiring, the wheels need tracking and the bonnet pins are sticky. The item "Honda Civic Type R" is in sale since Saturday, April 4, 2020.
