Rare 86 honda civic b18 forged turbo 200+mph modified retro weapon type R vtec

Up for sale is my little beast. 85 Honda civic with forged b18 vtec turbo conversion.

These cars weight approx 800kg and with the power to weight ratio this thing doesn't hang around. This is not your run of the mill b swap ek eg dc2. Vtec was not in production when these cars were made..

The engine swap is not so straight forward on these and is a very tight fit in the bay. Hours of blood sweat and tears have gone into this car and I'm not looking forward to saying bye but cant justify having all of these cars and not getting time to use them. Currently running 20 psi of boost and starts spooling from as early as 1500rpm.

Low mileage at 49000 miles only and was previously owned by a American doctor who had it as his holiday car. This was the perfect base for my project being a Tintop. Full exterior side trims and even has the factory Honda dash mat. The car was completely stripped down and any sign of corrosion cut out and welded and floor and bay painted candy red. Everything was reassembled with a full custom harness to run obd1 fitted.

I wanted a oem feel inside for that retro feel and didn't want to make the same mistake I made with my 85 crx and dispose of the interior as they are impossible to get now. You can obviously strip the car out for further weight reduction/track use as it's all clean underneath. Running custom modified speedo clocks to keep the retro look and have electric speed sensor rather than cable. Also adapted the firewall to run hydraulic clutch rather then a hydro conversion kit which has terrible feel for just snaps cables. Further run through of the spec.

Rear of dash gutted out Not sure on exactly power this is running as I've always street mapped all my cars myself. Have seen an engine with the same spec just bigger turbo and injectors run 800hp before cracking a liner so would say it should handle 700hp although this turbo will probably take you close to 500 with no lag. Great fun little car which never fails to put a smile on my face. Please remember this is not a new car and although has low mileage and has been well looked after this is a 34 year old car and will show signs of that around the car.
