This product eliminates the OEM catalytic converter. This combination delivers low to mid end power while utilizing a one piece design which maximizes the engine compartment space. Air flows smoothly through mandrel bent stainless steel and a high quality stainless steel braided flex section. No modifications are needed as it is a direct bolt-on unit to the OEM exhaust cat-back location but is designed for a 3 exhaust system. Fits 2017+ 10th generation Honda Civic Type R's. This exhaust manifold is ideal for all forms of competition; Autocross, drag racing and road racing. Includes 3 Gasket and necessary hardware. It is strongly recommended to upgrade your rear engine mount to an stiffer aftermarket version to help with movement in the vehicle. The most restrictive part of any exhaust system is the catalytic converter.The stock catalytic converter is meant to filter the flow of the exhaust gases to reduce the amount of harmful gases into the atmosphere. That is a potential performance restrain.
These downpipes eliminate the stock catalytic converters and reduce exhaust back pressure by maximizing exhaust flow.
