The new stereo will mount using the double din side plates within the kit. The stereo will mount from behind the fascia and is held in place by these side brackets supplied. No modification is required to the fascia, so please do not attempt to cut the front of the fascia to try and fit the cage supplied with the stereo.PATCH LEAD This interface connects Kenwood stereo with a joystick input (blue line-in mini-jack) or wire input on the back of the unit to the existing stalk/steering wheel controls of the vehicle. China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit. We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
