Honda Civic EK9 Type R K20 road/track car. Hi and welcome to the sale of my EK9. I bought this in recent months (Aug) and planned to use on the road, occasional track day and potentially turn into a race-car to compete in next year.
I'm going a different route now and need the space in my garage. This is not a sale due to any malfunctions or work required to do on the car. It is absolutely on the button and drives as you'd expect from a k-swapped and tuned EK9. Brief spec, i may have missed some but you'll get the general gist of how much attention has been given to the conversion.
Ek9 pre facelift imported into the uk in 2017. Undersealed and engine bay painted. 6 point safety devices bolt in cage with welded footplates. Spoon style carbon side mirrors.
Original Spoon Carbon front splitter. New oem red H badges and side type R badges.
Ek9 rear spoler on tilt brackets to adjust angle. K20 private plate will be included. K100 remapped by DMS 241 bhp. Ep3 gearbox with Kazz LSD.
Rbc intake manifold ported to 70mm. 70mm skunk 2 throttle body.
Hybrid Racing fuel rail & pressure guage. Hybrid Racing fuel pressure regulator. Custom full length radiator and fans.
Custom trackday friendly decatted exhaust. Engine bay was painted when the engine was swapped. 282 front discs 242 rear. Carbon Lorraine front pads, Yellowstuff rear.
Front 3 point upper strutbrace. Skunk 2 pro series front camber arms. Cyberspeed rear toe and camber arms. DC2 front anti roll bar. Ek9 rear anti roll bar.
Safety devices 6 point cage with welded footplates. Trackday rear doorcards (not fitted). Hybrid racing no cut shifter.
15 team dynamic pro race 1.2s. Dunlop Direzza 03G semi slicks. She is due an MOT, this is booked in for Tuesday 10th, it will fly through.
I've cut it back, polished and waxed it recently and she's been wrapped up in my garage ever since. There's a box of tricks to come with it too that i'll disclose to whoever buys it. All in all - a brilliantly converted EK9 that's ready to be enjoyed or taken to another level with ITBs or an SC. Which is what i'd be doing with it if i kept it!
Sorry to add this in but, i know what comes with advertising a car like this. Please please please, only get in touch if you're serious. I love chatting about cars, especially Honda's and what have you but, there's no need to hit me with a low ball, a comment on how this should be kept as a standard car, or how a B series is better than a K series, or that you've got a CRX and a Jordan and want to tell me how much better they are, or if i'd swap for a bike, t4, quad or your kidney. The price is pretty much fixed unless you want to take the spoon splitter off. I'll even stick a tank of petrol in it if you fancy driving it home.
