Honda civic type r ep3
For sale my civic type r ep3. Currently sat on 149k miles. This is a genuine rust issue free example. Both sills have been treated and coated and are solid. I've seen most of these civics now with holes in sills, holes in boot.
This has none of these issues and I'm happy for you to inspect. The body work is clean. Slight scuff on rear bumper splitter as pictured. Couple of car park dings and marks but what car doesn't at this age.
I would say it is in great nick compared to some others. The car drives faultless, no play or knocking, it's just passed an mot this week with no advisories which surprised me for a car of this age.Brakes all round are nearly new. Engine is quiet and gearbox has none of the crappy crunching issues you see so often, no water or oil leaks. I have also had the headlights refurbed so they are not dull and tired and a couple of new calipers before the brakes were done as they were sticking. The car is stock, no modifications bar a skunk 2 weighted gearnob and a Bluetooth stereo. I've had a few mega power civics in my time and I have to say it's so refreshing to drive a stock example.
It's firm but fair, not loud and obnoxious (not that that's a bad thing). I have pictured the bad points which is a slight rip in driver's bolster, scuff on rear bumper splitter and the wheels would benefit a refurb. The car comes with 2x keys and stacks of paperwork and service history and has had 4 owners. Last owner had it garaged for a while.
