Honda Civic Type R GT
Up for grabs is my Honda Civic Type R GT. 07 plate with a Full Service History & lots of paper work! The engine is spot on.
Starts first time, every time! Never been run on supermarket fuel. The car is in really condition for its age a -side from a few stone chips. I have added a weighted gear knob for smoother changes. Also, the door handles & petrol cap have been wrapped in black. With the wheels sprayed black too, to match in with the rest of the car. There is climate control but the air con could do with topping up. The engine is sweet with no noises or rattles. However, the plastic undertray has warped in the heat so it hangs lower in one area which sometimes you'll hear catch on speed bumps. But it isn't going anywhere & doesn't affect anything.It has an custom cat back exhaust system on it, installed by rtec in St Albans. It's not loud or droney. Also the front speakers have been upgraded to mtx ones. The passenger speaker sometimes crackles if you go over a slight bump in the road.
Only for a couple of seconds & it's rare it does it. The Last change is an after market mugen style grill. It's not the best fit as there's a slight gap between the grill & the bumper but it looks the part. Being the GT version, this has an factory optional extra GT splitter on the front to smarten the car up.There is a kerb mark on one wheel. It will now need one more tyre for the passenger side as its getting low on tread. I've reflected this in the price. There is a trolley ding on the rear quarter (annoyingly as I always park it out the way when shopping) & some small scratches in places which I've tried to get photos of but they dont show up in photos.
They can probably be buffed out as they're only surface marks. Rear parking sensors work perfectly. It's always been serviced & mot'd regularly. Comes with 2 keys & a spare LCD screen that usually displays the time & temp.
The current one doesn't work because the main head unit has been replaced with a double din screen. The advantage being, you can link it up to a rear facing camera if you wish. There's also BT on it & an in car microphone for calls. I had a new clutch installed professionally in Aug 2016 & there's no 3rd gear issue either unlike a few of these fn2s. I have the paper work for this ofcourse a long with all the services etc.
The spark plugs were also changed for Iridum ones. I've tried as best as I can to be transparent. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
